Our infant room is designed to meet the needs of your infant's individual daily schedule. We work with each family to create a nurturing and loving home-like environment. The teachers provide the families with daily notes on when feeding, diapering, napping, and activities occur. Developmental milestones are implemented to enhance age-appropriate areas of development for each infant. (ex. Infant is 3 months old, reaching and grasping activities are done to encourage this milestone).
Our toddler program supports a toddlers need to be busy while fostering independence and self-help skills. Music, dancing, painting, various sensory activities, and dramatic play experiences are just some examples of how we keep our toddlers busy and having fun! Also, Exploring the outside play yard is a must.
Our Preschool's main goal is to teach your child how to socialize with others. We develop activities that encourage Turn-taking, sharing, co-operating with peers, respecting classroom rules, in a structured learning environment. Children explore a variety of art, language, math, computers, and science throughout the school day. As with every program outdoor play is an important part of the day.
Before your children go off to Kindergarten we prepare them for what is ahead. Early Writing, Phonics, Math, Literature, Art, and computers are all activities done throughout the day.
A portfolio for each individual child (infants-Pre-K) is kept to show developmental milestones that have been met. Photos, Artwork, and observational notes and quotes are saved to share with parents. Your child’s portfolio is passed on to each classroom until your child graduates. In the end it is a wonderful piece of your child’s early learning years!
